Everything was silent…
but it was shattered like glass as a gentle ‘thump’ was born from the soles of a creature.
Rasping sounds stroke every tree with a powerful blow, sending the plants shivering with
pain. The sound was eerie and painful to ones ears; a rusty door hinge? No.
It belonged to the creature, whose thump shattered the silence of the forest.
Every sharp sound produced was the labored breathing in which the animal struggled for
breath…and yet, its steps were light and feathery, as if it didn’t dare harm nature’s
ground. Every movement was graceful, body moving eloquently showing off her slim frame.
There was not an ounce of fat on her; all that had been left were eroded away from days
of hard traveling. Replacing the fat were hard muscles which rippled under her healthy
coat of streaks of ember which overlapped the warm honey brown. The brown slightly touched
edges with the light cream down at her chest and sides, throwing splashes of light gray and
silver whenever she walked. Of course, that only happened from the trick of light.
Traveling down to her legs, you would see marble white peltage that swirled up to meet
her body fur while some of the dazzling white battled to her tail. Her face was delicately
shaped which held two intelligent amber optics. She was one who could flirt with another
and yet have the strength to lead an army to battle. She was strong and yet she could
crumble under the slightest pressure…but that was all the reason why she would be one of
the most pleasant wolves you could ever meet. She did things with skill and with the
gentlest touches, thinking before she acted. You could say that she was some sort of
girly girl but then again, her competitive and daredevil side makes you see her in a
whole different way.
A swallow of saliva eased down her throat with a gulp…such noise seemed to be loud in
the barren forest. The twitch of her auds seemed to ring throughout the trees and the
bead of sweat rolling down her neck fell to the ground with a soft drip, the sound
magnified by ten. Accompanied by the perspiration was a rim of red, pure and fresh, given
off by the ankle of this female. Cuts and bites attacked her body as she ran deeper into
the pines, joining the ones already made; they would sure scar. The wind croaked her hated
name, “Crystal…Crystal…” and the trees rustled their laughter at her. Such a princess like
wolf, hence the name, should not be in a state like this so why was she here?
Duty, destiny, desire, and fate.
[glow=Navy,2,300][/glow]Why she would help:
Her actions are compared with others. She would help another wolf if well known and kind. If a wolf of this pack hurts her, she will be an enemy for life.
